Introduction
Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA) was built in 2000 as one of the first multipurpose cruise terminals worldwide. Since then, we have gained experience in managing and operating one of Northern Europe’s biggest homeports. In 2015, we were awarded the prestigious Seatrade’s Port of the Year award (amongst several other international awards over the years)
The PTA team has a unique set of expertise in cruise terminal management and operations. We find ways to provide an enhanced business case by generating revenue outside of cruise line operations. Our cruise terminal design, with its highly flexible large span, also became a location of choice for large scale exhibitions, congresses, staff parties, dinners, receptions and several other events.
Over the years, we have been consulted by authorities all over the world for cruise terminal design, development and management (Hong Kong, Cyprus, Tangier, Galveston).
